Collection: Sapphire

The Gem of Light and Wisdom

The sapphire gemstone has been treasured for centuries as a symbol of truth, loyalty, and wisdom. Formed deep within the Earth, this durable variety of corundum is admired for its brilliance and remarkable range of colours.

Although best known for its rich royal blue, natural sapphires occur in many hues, including soft blues, yellows, pinks, and rare parti-coloured stones. Each gemstone’s colour is created by trace elements such as iron, titanium, or chromium within the crystal.

As a gemcutter and gemmologist, I examine every crystal before cutting. Each loose sapphire gemstone is carefully faceted to maximise brilliance, symmetry, and light return, revealing the sapphire’s natural beauty and fire.
